John Carroll

John is a researcher in the Teagasc Crop Science Department based at Oak Park. He holds a first class honours degree in Agricultural Science (Eng Tech) from UCD with a PhD from the school of Engineering, UCD, on variable rate herbicide application technologies. His research interests include break crop (including beans, oil seed rape and sugar beet) physiology and agronomy, and the benefits of crop rotations. He previously worked on energy crop agronomy, biomass processing, combustion and emission measurement.
